ABOUT
Avery Nicholson she/her
Client Care Coordinator
Avery is the heart of Bend's operations, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She brings an East Coast warmth and genuine care for people to everything she does — from administrative support to helping clients navigate their first steps into therapy.
A recent Mount Allison University graduate with a degree in Psychology and a passion for community, Avery is working toward becoming a psychotherapist herself one day. She's spent her life showing up for communities and the people within them, from ten years in her hometown 4-H club in Prince Edward Island to her work as a food security intern at Greater Dorchester Moving Forward Co-Operative.
Avery also works as a transitional housing support worker, which means she recognizes the complexities of living with mental health struggles, addiction, and the challenges of everyday life. This work also grounds her in the belief that everyone has the capacity to grow and work towards being a better version of themselves. She brings the same compassion and understanding to her work here at Bend — making sure you feel welcomed, supported, and taken care of from your very first interaction.
When she's not at Bend, you'll find Avery exploring the community, trying new things, and bringing that openness into everything she does.
