ABOUT
Lisa Flannagan, she/her
RSW, MSW
Lisa is a parent of five and a disability rights advocate who brings all of that lived experience into her work as a therapist. A Registered Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work, she understands what it means to hold multiple roles, navigate systems that don't always make space for everyone, and create room for people to be fully themselves.
Lisa believes therapy works best when you feel genuinely connected to your therapist. She uses an integrative approach, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT, EFIT & EFFT), Narrative Therapy, and Attachment Theory to help people feel seen, heard, and validated. She believes that even after highly stressful or traumatic experiences, people can understand the patterns that shape their relationships with others and themselves.
Lisa works with individuals, couples, and families. She has been part of a military family and knows the unique challenges that come with that experience. She considers it an honour to walk alongside people on their journey to create more peace and connection in their lives.
When she's not in session, you'll find Lisa continuing her work in disability advocacy, building spaces where everyone belongs.
